Kikamino stood on the highest cliff on the island, enjoying the cool breeze that swept in from the sea. Her dark, brown eyes reflected the setting sun as her long, green hair whipped out behind her. She watched the grey wisps of smoke curl from the chimneys, as the housewives made supper for their homecoming husbands and sleeping children. Kikamino wished she could become like that of the humans below, but she was an elf and those humans hated her simple being. She pondered, her eyes distant and faint. She would become a human and live peacfully with them, even if it meant dieing. Fire sprang up in the square, illuminating the now dark sky. 'They found another elf.......' Kikamino thought as the the helpless screams reached her.
I say love, it is a flower, you its only seed. Just remember, in the Winter, underneath the snow, is a seed, that in the Spring, becomes a pretty rose.
